【摘要】:Thispracticeisprovidedtodevelopandmaintainuniformityinpracticesfortheevaluationoftheloadcapacityoftreestands,particularlywithregardtoqualityassuranceandsafetyfactors.Itisemphasizedthattheuseoftheseprocedureswillnotalterthevalidityofdatadeterminedwithspecifictestmethods,butprovidesguidanceintheinterpretationoftestresults(validorinvalid)andguidanceintheselectionofareasonabletestprocedureinthoseinstanceswherenostandardexiststoday.1.1Thispracticeprovidesguidancefortestingtheloadcapacityoftreestands.1.2Thevaluesstatedareininch-poundunitsandaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
