【摘要】:Thisdocumentpertainstothefieldofhealthinformatics.Withinthatfielditaddressestheexchangeofdigitalimages,andinformationrelatedtotheproductionandmanagementofthoseimages,betweenbothmedicalimagingequipmentandsystemsconcernedwiththemanagementandcommunicationofthatinformation.Thisdocumentisintendedtofacilitateinteroperabilityofmedicalimagingequipmentbyspecifying:-Asetofprotocolstobefollowedbydevicesclaimingconformancetothestandard.-Thesyntaxandsemanticsofcommandsandassociatedinformationdatamodelsthatensureeffectivecommunicationbetweenimplementationsofthestandard.-Informationthatmustbesuppliedwithanimplementationforwhichconformancetothestandardisclaimed.Thisdocumentdoesnotspecify:-Theimplementationdetailsofanyfeaturesofthestandardonadeviceforwhichconformanceisclaimed.-Theoverallsetoffeaturesandfunctionstobeexpectedfromasystemimplementedbyintegratingagroupofdeviceseachclaimingconformancetothestandard.-Atesting/validationproceduretoassessanimplementation'sconformancetothestandard.Withinhealthinformatics,bothmedicalimagingequipmentandsystemsconcernedwiththemanagementandcommunicationofmedicalimagedatamayrequiretointeroperatewithothersystemsinotherareasofhealthinformatics;theseotherareasandsystemsare,however,outsidethescopeofthisdocument.
