【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversnon-asbestosfiber-cementroofingshakes,shingles,andslatesthatareofdesignedvaryingprofilesandthicknessesmanufacturedtoprovidetheweather-exposedsurfacesonroofsofbuildings.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotincludedetailsofproductinstallationorsystemperformance.Refertothemanufacturer''sinstallationliteratureforproperinstallationinstructions,toSpecificationC1459forroofingsystemsperformance,andtoTestMethodE108forlevelsoffireresistance.1.3Thisspecificationisnotapplicabletoasbestos-cementorfiber-cementproductsasspecifiedinSpecificationsC222andC1225.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
